Summers Over & Fall Has Arrived so they say but I got a few more outfits before we pull out the layers and long pants and shit. This summer has been a whirlwind for me. I’m sure many of you have noticed that the articles haven’t been coming out ever week this summer. Your boy has literally been on a world tour.
The photography part of my business has been taking off like a rocket. I been to six country since my last post and I’m on a flight (that’s 16hrs might I add) to my next two countries as I type this article. Thank you Jesus is all I can say. This October makes six years that I started XL Tribe and the goal has always been to change the perception of XL Men.
I must say this is a very different world than when I started. We’ve had two Plus Size Men walk NYFW for Tommy Hilfiger. We made our entry into Luxury fashion Plus Size Model Zach Miko modeled for Dolce & Gabbana the fall/winter season of 2019/2020.
Then Covid came into the picture and it seems for the first few months that it was gonna slow things down. Little like did we know it would create a breathing ground for tons of new talent. I feel like the panorama has cause the industry to feel this urge to look in our (Plus Size Men) directions. There’s literally 100’s of Plus Size Men Model now.
That stat alone makes me feel that we have been working hard and I love it. We (Plus Mens Model) were even featured in Vogue Business. We moving fast and that’s a good sign. I just want us to continue with creating spaces for inclusion for the next generations of models. So with that being said take care until the next post.
