Happy New Year Y’all were back with our XL’s Featured Tribesmen Of The Week Tim Bowie.

1. What are some of your biggest fashion obstacles you’ve overcome? I’d say the biggest challenge is finding the right fit. People come in all different shapes and sizes and most times one size doesn’t fit all. It can be a challenge finding the right brands that fit the best, but I’m learning.

 2. Where are you from and how you describe your style? I’m from Birmingham, Al. My style is cross between casual and business. Sometimes I’ll switch up, but my daily go to is more of a business casual style.

3. Tell us about your biggest fashion nightmare and if it came true do explain. (attach a picture if you can) I haven’t really had any nightmares, lol. That’s only because I consult my good friend Jeffrey Martin, who’s also tailor. He lets me know what I can and can’t get away with. Also, my wife won’t let me leave the house looking crazy, lol.

4.Have any of your 2019 goals come true? It was an interesting year to say the least. I learned a lot and met a lot of my goals. It was a great year.

5.Where do you see yourself in five years and how do you see yourself accomplishing it? In five years I’ll be 44, married for 21 years to my beautiful wife, Sharella Bowie, with a 17 year old son and a 5 year old daughter. I’ll also me a top producing real estate broker in my area. Hopefully, I’ll be a few pounds lighter, lol. All of this will take prayer, perseverance, patience, and discipline. If I do my part, the rest will fall into place.

6. How long have you been on the journey of being a Big & Tall man? What’s the biggest misconception you hear about Big & Tall Guys? I’ve been big all my life. I’m the guy that works “husky” cloths as a little boy. Over the past couple of years, I’ve really taken an interest in investing in my image. It’s a journey that’s been fun but challenging at times. The biggest misconception about big guys is that we don’t desire to be fashionable. Trust me, we want to look good too. Our challenges have been trying to find clothes that help us achieve this goal without having to spend a lot of money on custom clothing.
