Men Have Feelings Too is the story I’ve been screaming that from the rooftops forever. I’m honesty so glad that Sid Jackson of Thee Safe Place came out with these shirts that help start the conversation.
Sid has a special place in my brand always and forever. Let me tell you’ll a story so I went to New York last February to the Curvy AF event and I’m outside shooting Chris and I hear someone talking about XL Tribe and all work their doing. So later on that that I decided, I wanted to pull some guys outside to shoot I’ll link that posts here.
So, of course, I had to pull the guy outside that was just speaking so highly of this brand I’m growing. As we’re talking he stops and says wait what’s your name and that’s when he finds out I’m XL Tribe and from that moment I knew two things I needed to work harder so more people know my business. Two he was gonna be my brother for life. So over the year, we have developed a close bond… one so close that listening to his story on my podcast led me to he finding a therapist of my own.
In the early part of 2020, Sid stated that he wanted to provide a platform for men to be able to share their feeling in a non-judgmental atmosphere. He did just that he created the brand called Thee Safe Place…
Thee Safe Place serves as a haven for people who LOOK, THINK, AND FEEL like us. We are creating a safe place for Black men to openly express their vulnerabilities, speak about their battle with mental health, and to promote mental health awareness globally throughout Black communities. We are traveling the country providing opportunities for transparent dialogue and to help tackle the taboo, shift the narrative, and to help our community REMOVE THE MASK.
Thee Safe Place
So in honor I had to get me some merchandise to support my friend and brother.
