1. What are your biggest fashion obstacles?
My biggest fashion obstacle has got to be sleeves. I’m 6’7 and have a pretty long wingspan plus broad shoulders, so long-sleeved shirts are difficult off of the rack. I also have a size 18 shoe, so finding the right footwear (that looks good!) can be a challenge.

2. Where are you from and how you describe your style?

I grew up in the Houston area, but have lived in Dallas for the past decade. I work in video production for a digital marketing agency, and travel a good deal for work so my everyday clothes are simple essentials – black or blue jeans, and t-shirts. One of the things that helps keeps me sane when I travel is routine – I generally wear the same 2-3 outfits, which helps me pack efficiently, and is one less thing to worry about.

When it comes to going out and special occasions, I’m definitely a more is more kind of guy. I love bold patterns and color. I find that when you’re bigger and taller than the rest of the population, you have two options – you can either try to hide by blending in, or you can lean into it and embrace being over the top.

3. Tell us about your biggest fashion nightmare and if it came true do explain. (attach a picture if you can)
I’ve got a 36-inch inseam and prefer to wear jeans and pants that are very tapered. I also have pretty large thighs, which has occasionally led to busted and broken crotches. Only once in public though!

4. What are your 2019 goals?
Muscles! Muscles are the 2019 goal. I lost 150 pounds in 2016, and have spent each year working on “the next phase”. Each year I try to push myself further in my body goals, and this year is all about heavy strength training.

5. Where do you see yourself in five years and how do you see yourself accomplishing it?
This is a big question! I can’t answer that for certain, but hopefully continuing to progress in my health goals, and trying to be best me I can be.

6. How long have you been on the journey of being a Big & Tall man? What’s the biggest misconception you hear about Big & Tall Guys?

I’ve been big and tall all my life. I think one of the misconceptions people have is that we should wear drab, shapeless clothes. We can (and should!) wear anything that makes us feel strong and confident.

7.If you could swap styles with one celebrity who would it be and why?
RuPaul, because his suits are always on point. And we’re close to the same height, so it would be easy to share! 🙂
