Slim & Husky’s Pizza Beeria got its name from a pretty interesting start.
Slim & Husky’s was founded on a shared dream inside of a garage in 2015. The clever name came from a joke the longtime friends have been laughing about for years. One of them has always been a slim guy, but the other two were always big fellas, forcing their mothers to shop for clothing in the children’s husky section.
Slim & Husky Bio
A few weeks prior actually my friends and I ate at Slim & Husky’s and when I tell you the food was so got damn good. I was like yo I got to hit them up to do an official food review on the blog. And
So I went over to Slim & Husky‘s Pizza Beeria over on Howell Mill Road and when I tell you the folks over there took care of me and my photographer Priiiincesss. I mean they took care of us. I ordered the Husky “See No Green” that pizza is so good. It’s a meat lovers pizza that they put on the flatbread and then add some seasoned butter as the base. The toppings are as follows:
Classic Red Sauce, S+H House Cheese Blend, Ground Beef, Pepperoni, Hickory Smoked Bacon, Canadian Bacon and Italian Sausage

Do yall see in the photo below how good that pizza look.
Y’all know I absolutely love food and of course, you guys know I’m always here supporting black business and I’m the CEO is a black woman I was sold three times over. I’m so proud of the community that Slim & Huskys is creating and I can’t wait to see what other amazing things they do next.
PS the location on 1016 Howell Mill Rd serves alcohol and that Peach Vodka drink is one for the books. You have to try it if you’re 21 and over.
There are a lot of great restaurants out there that I cant wait to explore. I’m really willing to try new things you know especially its Black Owned. I’ll be doing these food reviews every two weeks and I’m hoping I can do them every week in the near future. I hope you guys enjoyed the photos and go check out Slim & Husky’s and tell them that XL Tribe sent you.
