At this point, if you don’t know who Steven Green is you must be living under a rock. Steven G has been on my radar for well over a year maybe two. Listen I was literally in front of the TV losing my shits. When Rihanna Savage X Fenty Vol 2 show debuted. The first thing I did was to go to the website and noticed Steven. Then I look at the images and said Steven’s gonna be everywhere. It was at that moment that I realized I had to interview him for the next magazine. I had so many questions one being How’s Fenty First Plus-Size Male Model Handling His New Fame?

• How are you managing the newfound fame from being the first Big & Tall Model on Savage X Fenty’s site?
  • It’s been a smooth ride! Honestly, I just exist as normal. Life as I once knew it has DEFINITELY changed but managing the fame almost feels second nature. I’d say I’m adjusting to the impact of it all so I’m just being cognizant about that in positive ways. I can’t lie, it is pretty cool when someone recognizes me or wants to take a photo. I’ve always been a ppl person so when I’m met with love like that it’s pretty easy to reciprocate that energy.

• How long have you been modeling? What was the process of being discovered is like?
  •  I’ve been modeling for a little under a year. I never actually aspired to pursue modeling. The opportunity just fell in my lap. I rebranded myself to reposition myself and my services as a wardrobe stylist and big & y’all style expert. Doing so, it prompted me to create more content to draw in clientele for those services. After about a year or two of consistent posting and engagement, it caught the attention of a few casting directors and brands. Once I started to solidify bookings as an influencer and model it prompted me to seek representation. I was signed in February of this year to Bridge Modeling Agency. That’s when I officially entered and sought out the modeling field.

• What’s one fun fact about you people may or may not know? I sing and I love music.

• Many people may not know you’re a photographer. How did you get into photography? I actually started in high school. I took photos around the house and liked to capture things in an artistic way. Then, I joined my high school yearbook staff and developed my talent and knack for it a little more. Around senior year I started to pursue it as a business and started taking some of my classmate’s photos and senior portraits and it took off from there. After years of developing my eye and passion, I established myself as a fashion and commercial photographer.
