1. One of the biggest obstacles that I faced, in the past but recently changed, was being able to find clothes that fit properly. For instance my neck is a 18, the shirts I would find wouldn’t be tailored or tapered and would just be ill fitting.  The good thing now is that a lot of brands have begin to introduce tailored clothing for us bigger guys. This also was one of the reasons that pushed me to start my own custom suit company Eminent Style.
2. I’m from Fort Worth, Texas, you may know it as DFW. The biggest trend I see is definitely more urban street style. I see a lot of distressed jeans, ripped t-shirts, etc. It’s a very dope look, but not really my style. One of the things I’m seeing more of, and I’m excited about, is people starting to suit up. It just hasn’t been enough people doing it to call it a trend just yet.
3. So I can say I’ve avoided a lot of disasters because most of the time I’ll put my clothes on to check it out before I wear them. I’ve learned that everything doesn’t always come together like it did when you thought of it. I look back at some of my older photos and at the time it was the style but I definitely look at some of that as a disaster now. Then there was that one time where I ripped some slacks, but I’m thankful that there’s no visual evidence lol!
4. Man this sounds cliche and cheesy but I consider myself a classic man. So some of my inspiration comes from a lot of the old school cats. The great Gatsby era( roaring 20s). Harlem Nights is one of my favorite movies not only for the comedy but because of the fashion.  So I guess you can say I love the vintage look with a modern twist.
