I think first I have to start off with the fact that Puerto Rico is a part of the United States so you don’t need a passport to travel there. However, with that being said there is definitely a disconnect between mainland America and island America. 

Going to Puerto Rico was my first time leaving the continental US and it was definitely an experience of a lifetime I’ll start with getting there. 

Travel Hacks

People will tell you all the time they don’t like Spirit. However, I am the other hand have absolutely no problems with Sprit I think people are not aware of how to travel with them hints why people usually don’t like them.

Spirit is a budget airline and you have to be prepared for that. So I’m going to give yall some tips and tricks on how to fly with Spirit the right way. First, go to spirit.com see what the approved personal item sizing is and go purchase a bag that is that exact size. You will be winning 90% of the battle of why people don’t like Spirit. Second, learn to pack lighttttt (Erykah Badu voice).

PS: For extra savings with Spirit if you buy your tickets at the airport their even cheaper.

SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico — Puerto Rico’s governor announced Friday that she will activate the National Guard to help enforce a curfew aimed at curbing a rise in COVID-19 cases and other measures, including once again closing beaches to everyone except those doing exercise.

Gov. Wanda Vázquez also said the government will limit capacity at restaurants, casinos, gyms, churches and other places to 30%.

The new restrictions start Nov. 16 and will remain in place until Dec. 11. Face masks and a 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. curfew remain mandatory. “
