Big And Tall Men Making The Switch To Aluminum Free Deodorant.

Lately, the conversation been coming up a lot about us Big Guys switching from aluminum to aluminum-free deodorant so I wanted to give my little 15¢ on the topic.

So let me tell you guys about my journey to wearing aluminum-free deodorant. It started for me by listening to a podcast in the summer of 2014 I was listening to The Friend Zone with Hey Fran Hey, Dustin Ross, and Asante. They had a commercial on for a brand called Lone deodorant. From that commercial, I decided that I was going to give it a try.

Fran talked about all the health benefits and how there’s been a lot of studies done that link Aluminum to carcinogens that may possibly cause cancer and I don’t want cancer sooooo. I decided on going all-natural boy did I know the journey I was about to embark on.

Step 1

Start the process in the fall/winter months. Listen just like someone who starts their dreads you have to go through the ugly stage theirs just no getting around it. Your gonna smell SIR. I personally also did a detox where I didn’t wear any deodorant I wanted to rid my body of the years of toxicant in my body.

Step 2

Here coming the searching for the correct deodorant. I went through a few ones before I landed on my new fav Tom’s Of Maine. I tried Lone but it didn’t keep me fresh for more than 4hours. Next was a crystal-based natural deodorant that wasn’t even rolling underneath. After reading the instruction I saw you need to add water to the tip then roll it on my arms I was done.

Step 3

Spreading the word. I mean it’s been a seven-year journey and every opportunity I get to spread the good gospel of natural deordarant. I spend alot of hours chatting with fellas online and helping them through the process.
